     Anne Douglas Utermarck was the daughter of John de Havilland Utermarck.2 She married, firstly, Captain William Bothwell Potter before 1883.3 She married, secondly, James Forbes Chisholm Chisholm-Batten, son of Edmund Chisholm-Batten and Jemima Chisholm, on 9 August 1883.1 She died on 1 December 1917.3
     From before 1883, her married name became Potter.3 From 9 August 1883, her married name became Chisholm-Batten.1

     Lieutenant James Utermarck Chisholm-Batten was born on 29 May 1884.1 He was the son of James Forbes Chisholm Chisholm-Batten and Anne Douglas Utermarck.2 He died on 30 September 1915 at age 31, killed in action.3
     Lieutenant James Utermarck Chisholm-Batten gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 3rd Battalion, Dorset Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Edmund Rodolphe Chisholm-Batten was born on 10 May 1887.1 He was the son of James Forbes Chisholm Chisholm-Batten and Anne Douglas Utermarck.2 He married Winifred Mary Cain, daughter of Ernest Harry Cain, in 1920.1
     Edmund Rodolphe Chisholm-Batten was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, England.1 He gained the rank of Midshipman in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was Lord of the Manor of Thornfalcon.1 He lived at Court House, Thornfalcon, Somerset, England.1 In 1935 he inherited the Chisholm estates from his cousin Anne Margaret. He sold them and Erchless Castle in 1937.1 He lived at Aigas Forest, Strathglass, Inverness-shire, Scotland.1
