     Elizabeth Macdonell was the daughter of Duncan Macdonell of Glengarry.2 She married William Chisholm, The Chisholm, son of Alexander Chisholm, The Chisholm and Margaret Mackenzie, on 12 March 1785.1 She died on 17 October 1859.3
     From 12 March 1785, her married name became Chisholm.

     Alexander William Chisholm of Chisholm was born on 15 February 1810.1 He was the son of William Chisholm, The Chisholm and Elizabeth Macdonell.2 He died on 8 September 1838 at age 28, unmarried.1
     Alexander William Chisholm of Chisholm held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Inverness between 1835 and 1838.1

     Edmund Chisholm-Batten was the son of John Batten.2 He married Jemima Chisholm, daughter of William Chisholm, The Chisholm and Elizabeth Macdonell, on 1 August 1845.1 He died on 13 February 1897.3
     Edmund Chisholm-Batten graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was a practising Barrister-at-law.1 He was baptised with the name of Edmund Batten.3 On 1859 his name was legally changed to Edmund Chisholm-Batten by Royal Licence.3 He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office in 1860.3 He lived at Aigas Forest, Strathglass, Inverness-shire, Scotland.3 He lived at Thornfalcon, Somerset, England.1

     James Forbes Chisholm Chisholm-Batten was born on 13 January 1847.1 He was the son of Edmund Chisholm-Batten and Jemima Chisholm.2 He married Anne Douglas Utermarck, daughter of John de Havilland Utermarck, on 9 August 1883.1 He died on 17 March 1915 at age 68.1
