     Colonel Sir Charles Hughes-Hunter, 1st Bt. was born circa 1845 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He married Sarah Elizabeth Hughes, daughter of William Bulkeley Hughes and Elizabeth Donkin, in 1876 at St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.2 He was created 1st Baronet Hughes-Hunter, of Plâs Côch, in the parish of Llanedwen, in the county of Anglesey [U.K.] in 1906.

     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hughes-Hunter, of Plâs Côch, in the parish of Llanedwen, in the county of Anglesey [U.K., 1906].

     From 11 December 1912, her married name became Grove-White.1

     Sir John Donald Horsfall, 2nd Bt. was born on 1 June 1891.2 He was the son of Sir John Cousin Horsfall, 1st Bt. and Sarah Emily Fawcett.3 He married, firstly, Henrietta Musgrave, daughter of William Musgrave, on 28 October 1914.2 He married, secondly, Gladys Broster, daughter of Robert Buck Broster, on 24 August 1953.2 He died in 1975.2
     Sir John Donald Horsfall, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Donald.1 He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, EnglandG.2 He was Captain, 6th Battalion, West Riding Regiment.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Horsfall, of Hayfield, Glusburn, co. Yorks [U.K., 1909] on 18 October 1920.2 He was chairman of John C. Horsfall & Sons, worsted spinners.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of the West Riding, Yorkshire in 1927.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire in 1928.2
