     Sir Ralph Lewis Wedgwood, 1st Bt. was born on 2 March 1874 at Barlaston, Staffordshire, England.1 He was the son of Clement Francis Wedgwood and Catherine Emily Rendel.1 He married Iris Veronica Pawson, daughter of Albert Henry Pawson, on 24 October 1906.2
     He was Territorial Decoration (T.D.).2 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Wedgwood.3 He was WW I: Colonel cmdg Engr and Rlwy Staff Corps, Dir Docks with rank of Brigadier-General (despatches, Orders SS. Maurice and Lazarus Italy Crown Belgium, Legion Hon, Croix de Guerre).2 He graduated in 1895 with a Clifton and Trin College Cambridge Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) , Master of Arts (M.A.) 1939).2 He was Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1917.2 He was Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1918.2 He was Dep General Manager NER , General Manager 1922–23, Ch General Manager LNER 1923–39, knighted 1924, memb: Centl Electricity Board 1930–45, Chinese Government Purchasing Commn 1930 and Cncl Royal Society Arts 1939, memb Delegacy King's College Londo in 1919.2 On 20 January 1942 so created.2

     Francis Wedgwood was born on 24 November 1800 at Gunville, Dorset, England.1 He was the son of Josiah Wedgwood and Elizabeth Allen.1 He married Frances Mosley, daughter of Reverend John Peploe Mosley and Sarah Maria Paget, on 26 April 1832 at Rolleston, Staffordshire, England.1 He died on 2 October 1888 at age 87.2
     He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) (Staffs).2 He lived Barlaston and Etruria.2 Master potter.2 He was educated Rugby and Cambridge.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).

      Her married name became Wedgwood.
