     Richard Thomas Rowley was born in 1812 at Bodrhyddan Hall, Rhuddlan, Flintshire, Wales.1 He married Alice Henrietta Berners, daughter of Captain Hugh Berners and Julia Alice Ashton, Sep Qtr 1872 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1 He married Charlotte Shipley, daughter of William Shipley and Charlotte Williams-Wynn, on 24 June 1835.1
