     Henry Daniel Cholmeley was born in 1810.1 He was the son of Sir Montague Cholmeley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Harrison.2,1 He married, firstly, Georgiana Millicent Way, daughter of Reverend Lewis Way and Mary Drewe, on 19 February 1852 at Betchworth, Surrey, England.1,3 He married, secondly, Penelope Goodford, daughter of John Goodford, on 25 March 1862.1 He died on 1 June 1865.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 27th Regiment.1 He lived at The Priory, Woodchester, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1
