     Hon. Peter Snodgrass was born on 29 September 1817 at Lisbon, Portugal.2 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Kenneth Snodgrass and Janet Wright.2 He married Charlotte Agnes Cotton, daughter of John Cotton and Susannah Edwards, on 24 September 1846 at St. James, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.2 He died on 25 November 1867 at age 50 at South Yarra, Victoria, Australia.2
     He lived at Victoria, AustraliaG.1 He held the office of Member, Legislative Assembly (M.L.A.) [New South Wales]2

     Janet Marian Snodgrass was born on 4 June 1851 at Doogallook Station, Goulburn River, Victoria, Australia.2 She was the daughter of Hon. Peter Snodgrass and Charlotte Agnes Cotton.3,2 She married Sir William John Clarke, 1st Bt., son of Hon. William John Turner Clarke and Elizabeth Dowling, on 21 January 1873.1 She died on 4 April 1909 at age 57.1 She was also reported to have died on 28 April 1909 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.2
     From 21 January 1873, her married name became Clarke.1

     Hon. William Lionel Russell Clarke was born on 31 March 1876.1 He was the son of Sir William John Clarke, 1st Bt. and Janet Marian Snodgrass.2 He married Florence Douglas Mackenzie, daughter of Colonel Henry Douglas Mackenzie and Julia Nina Sofala Suttor, on 23 September 1908.1 He died on 14 May 1954 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Scotch College, Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaG.3 He was educated at Melbourne Grammar School, Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaG.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Field Artillery.1 He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Victoria] in 1915.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1919.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Victoria.1

     Colonel Henry Douglas Mackenzie was born on 26 September 1849.2 He was the son of Reverend Charles Mackenzie and Henrietta Simonds.2 He married Julia Nina Sofala Suttor, daughter of Hon. John Bligh Suttor, on 7 January 1873.2 He died on 24 October 1910 at age 61 at Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia.2,3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1 He was Colonel of the Tasmanian Commonwealth Military Forces.2
