     Captain R. G. Thompson was the son of R. H. Thompson.2 He married Marjorie Ida May Rose Clayton, daughter of Arthur John Clayton and Alice Rose Jones, on 16 November 1915.1 He died on 13 May 1963.1
     Captain R. G. Thompson gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 8th Battalion, Royal West Surrey Regiment.1

     Muriel Edith Lily Clayton was born on 17 April 1900.1 She was the daughter of Arthur John Clayton and Alice Rose Jones.2 She married Sir Arthur Harold Clayton, 11th Bt., son of Sir Harold Dudley Clayton, 10th Bt. and Leila Cecilia Clayton, in 1927.1 She died on 8 April 1929 at age 28.1
