     Jean II 'le Preux' d'Harcourt, sire d'Harcourt, seigneur de Brionne, de Cailleville, de Beauficel et d'Angoville was born in 1240.2 He was the son of Jean I 'le Preud Homme' d'Harcourt sire d'Harcourt, seigneur d'Elbeuf, de Cailleville, de Beauficel, de Blouville, de Potigny, de Nehou et de Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte and Alix de Beaumont-Gâtinais.3 He married, firstly, Agnès de Lorraine, daughter of Frederic III, Duc de Lorraine and Margaret de Navarre.1 He married, secondly, Jeanne de Surgères, vicomtesse de Châtellerault, dame de Lillebonne, daughter of Aimey de Châtellérault, Vicomte de Châtellérault and Agathe de Dammartin, on 20 May 1280.3,2 He died on 21 December 1302.3
     He held the office of Admiral of France.3 He held the office of Marshall of France.3

     Jacob I Markgraf von Baden was born on 15 March 1407 at HachbergG.1 He was the son of Bernhard I Markgraf von Baden and Anna von Oettingen.2,1 He married Catherine de Lorraine, daughter of Charles I, Duc de Lorraine and Margarete prinzessin von der Pfalz, on 25 July 1422.1 He died on 13 October 1453 at age 46 at Mühlburg, Germany.2,1
     He succeeded as the Markgraf von Baden in 1431.2
