     Sir Edward Dering, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir Cholmely Dering, 4th Bt. and Mary Fisher. He married, firstly, Mary Henshaw, daughter of Edward Henshaw, on 24 February 1728. He married, secondly, Mary Fotherby on 11 September 1735. He died on 15 April 1762.
     Sir Edward Dering, 5th Bt. gained the title of 5th Baronet Dering.

     Mary Henshaw was born before 1713. She was the daughter of Edward Henshaw. She married Sir Edward Dering, 5th Bt., son of Sir Cholmely Dering, 4th Bt. and Mary Fisher, on 24 February 1728. She died in March 1735.
     Her married name became Dering.

     Sir Cholmely Dering, 4th Bt. was born on 23 June 1679. He was the son of Sir Edward Dering, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Cholmeley. He married Mary Fisher, daughter of Edward Fisher, on 17 July 1704. He died on 9 May 1711 at age 31, killed in a duel.
     Sir Cholmely Dering, 4th Bt. gained the title of 4th Baronet Dering.
