     Sarah Beresford Cossins was born in 1816.2 She was the daughter of John Cossins and Susanna Elizabeth Thicknesse-Touchet.1 She married Sir John Hay of Park, 7th Bt., son of Lt-Col. Lewis Hay and Barbara Craigie, on 29 June 1836 at St. Ninians, Stirling, Stirlingshire, ScotlandG.1,3 She died on 29 December 1855.2
     From 29 June 1836, her married name became Hay.

     Harry Douglas Hay was born on 2 November 1845.1 He was the son of Sir John Hay of Park, 7th Bt. and Sarah Beresford Cossins.1 He married Mary Grace Veasey, daughter of Walter W Veasey, on 4 April 1872.1 He died on 22 September 1909 at age 63, without issue.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1

     Charles Edward Erroll Hay was born on 9 April 1893.1 He was the son of Charles Edward Hay and Jessie Fulton Arthur.1 He died on 9 August 1918 at age 25, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 17th Lancers.1 He fought in the First World War.1
