Sir John Perceval, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1660. He was the son of Sir John Perceval, 1st Bt. and Catherine Southwell.1 He married Catherine Dering, daughter of Sir Edward Dering, 2nd Bt. and Mary Harvey, in February 1680.1 He died on 29 April 1686.1

Catherine Dering was the daughter of Sir Edward Dering, 2nd Bt. and Mary Harvey.1 She married, firstly, Sir John Perceval, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Perceval, 1st Bt. and Catherine Southwell, in February 1680.1 She married, secondly, Colonel unknown Butler in 1690.1 She died in 1691.1
