Lady Helen Guendolen Seymour was the daughter of Edward Adolphus Seymour, 12th Duke of Somerset and Jane Georgiana Sheridan.1 She married Sir John William Ramsden, 5th Bt., son of John Charles Ramsden and Hon. Isabella Dundas, on 2 August 1865.1 She died on 14 August 1910.2

Sir John William Ramsden, 5th Bt. was born on 14 September 1831.2 He is the son of John Charles Ramsden and Hon. Isabella Dundas.3 He married Lady Helen Guendolen Seymour, daughter of Edward Adolphus Seymour, 12th Duke of Somerset and Jane Georgiana Sheridan, on 2 August 1865.1 He died on 15 April 1914 at age 82.2
He was U-Sec –58, Honour Colonel 1st W R Brigade RFA, High Sheriff Yorkshire 1868, Member of Parliament (M.P.) Taunton 1853–57, Hythe 1857–59, W R Yorkshire 1859–65, Monmouth 1868–74, E Div W R Yorkshire 1880–85 and Osgoldeross 1885–86 War 1857.2 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) Yorkshire.2 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) Inverness.2 He graduated with a Cambridge Master of Arts (M.A.).2 He gained the title of 5th Baronet Ramsden. He was Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.D.).2
