     Lt.-Col. James Hayton Greenhill Black was the son of Robert Greenhill Black of Ardmay.¹ He married Gladys Mabel Lowther, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Gerald Augustus Lowther, 1st and last Bt. and Alice Blight, on 14 February 1942.¹ He died on 23 December 1966.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹ He lived at Ardmay, Dunbartonshire, Scotland.¹

     Baron Jacques Thenard was the son of Baron unknown Thenard.¹ He married Edith Alice Cecilia Lowther, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Gerald Augustus Lowther, 1st and last Bt. and Alice Blight, on 30 October 1933.¹ He died in May 1940, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Baron unknown Thenard lived at Château de la Ferte, Saone-et-Loire, France.¹

     Ailsa Julie Gibson was born in 1982.¹ She is the daughter of John Simon Gibson and Joy Beatrice Ridgway.¹

     Julia de Billier Gibson was born in 1959.¹ She is the daughter of John Frederic Gibson and Lorna Mary Pickering.¹ She married Evert van der Zee in 1985.¹
