     William Tucker Lindesay-Bethune, 14th Earl of Lindsay was born on 28 April 1901.1 He was the son of Archibald Lionel Bethune, 13th Earl of Lindsay and Ethel Tucker.1 He married Marjory Cross, daughter of Arthur John Graham Cross and Marjory Nelson Ritchie Edwards, on 6 January 1925.1 He died in 1985.1
     He was given the name of William Tucker Bethune at birth.1 He was educated at Groton School, Groton, Massachusetts, U.S.A.G.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Guards.1 He gained the rank of Second World War in the where he was wounded.1 He succeeded as the 13th Viscount of Garnock [S., 1703] on 15 October 1943.1 He succeeded as the 23rd Lord Lindsay of the Byres [S., 1444] on 15 October 1943.1 He succeeded as the 13th Lord Kilbirny and Drumry [S., 1703] on 15 October 1943.1 He succeeded as the 14th Lord Parbroath [S., 1633] on 15 October 1943.1 He succeeded as the 14th Earl of Lindsay [S., 1633] on 15 October 1943.1 He held the office of Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1947 and 1959.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry.1 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)1 He held the office of Member of the Fife County Council between 1956 and 1963.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel between 1957 and 1962 in the Scottish Horse.1

     James Bey was the son of Elias Pasha Bey. He married Mabel Cecily Lowther, daughter of Hon. William Lowther and Hon. Charlotte Alice Parke, on 3 May 1912.1 He died on 26 January 1941.1

Agnes Crichton

     Agnes Crichton was the daughter of William Crichton of that Ilk, 1st Lord Crichton. She married, firstly, Alexander Lyon, 2nd Lord Glamis, son of Patrick Lyon, 1st Lord Glamis and Isabel Ogilvy, before 17 February 1450.1 She married, secondly, Walter Kerr of Cessford, son of Andrew Kerr of Auldtounburn and Cessford and unknown daughter Douglas, on 20 October 1487.1
     From before 17 February 1450, her married name became Lyon.1 From 20 October 1487, her married name became Kerr.

William Crichton of that Ilk, 1st Lord Crichton1

     William Crichton of that Ilk, 1st Lord Crichton was the son of Sir John Crichton of that Ilk and unknown daughter Christian of Grenislaw.2,1 He died between January 1454 and July 1454.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1424.1 He held the office of Governor of Edinburgh Castle in 1426.1 He held the office of Master of the King's Household in 1435.1 He held the office of Chancellor [Scotland] circa 1437.1 In 1440 he allied against the Douglases, including the judicial murder of the 6th Earl of Douglas.1 He was created 1st Lord Crichton [Scotland] between 1443 and 1447.1 In 1444 he was outlawed and forfeited.1 Before 1447 he was restored to his lands and office.1

     Sir Walter Kerr of Cessford was the son of Sir Andrew Kerr of Cessford and Agnes Crichton.1 He married Isabel Kerr, daughter of Sir Andrew Kerr of Ferniehirst and Janet Home, before 27 September 1543.2 He died before 1583.2
     He lived at Cessford, ScotlandG.1 He was a commissioner to treat with the English on 28 August 1559.2 In 1567 he supported King James VI against his mother, Queen Mary of Scots.2
