     Sir Robert George Vivian Duff, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 November 1876. He was the son of Sir Charles Garden Assheton-Smith, 1st Bt. and Hon. Maud Frances Vivian.1,2 He married Lady Gladys Mary Juliet Lowther, daughter of St. George Henry Lowther, 4th Earl of Lonsdale and Lady Constance Gwladys Herbert, on 9 June 1903.1 He died on 16 October 1914 at age 37, killed in action.1
     Sir Robert George Vivian Duff, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of George.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Life Guards.3 He fought in the First World War.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Duff, of Vaynol Park, Bangor, co. Caernarvon [U.K., 1911] on 24 September 1914.4

     Major Keith Trevor is the son of Harry Depuis Trevor.1 He married Lady Gladys Mary Juliet Lowther, daughter of St. George Henry Lowther, 4th Earl of Lonsdale and Lady Constance Gwladys Herbert, on 12 June 1919.1 He and Lady Gladys Mary Juliet Lowther were divorced in 1926.1
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1

     Kate Fink is the daughter of Charles Fink. She married, secondly, Hon. Charles Edwin Lowther, son of Henry Lowther, 3rd Earl of Lonsdale and Emily Susan Caulfeild, on 12 June 1878.1
     Her married name became Benjamin.1 Her married name became Lowther.

Mary Grove1

     Mary Grove was the daughter of Robert Grove and Mary Ryland.1 She married Francis Charles Annesley, 1st Earl Annesley, son of William Annesley, 1st Viscount Glerawly and Lady Anne Beresford, on 8 February 1766, with a fortune of £30,000.1 She died on 25 August 1791, without issue.1
     From 8 February 1766, her married name became Annesley.1 After her marriage, Mary Grove was styled as Viscountess Glerawly on 12 September 1770. After her marriage, Mary Grove was styled as Countess Annesley on 17 August 1789.

     James Hugh William Lowther, 7th Earl of Lonsdale was born on 3 November 1922.1 He was the son of Anthony Edward Lowther, Viscount Lowther and Muriel Frances Farrar.1 He married, firstly, Tuppina Cecily Bennet, daughter of Captain Geoffrey Henry Bennet and Cecily Clayton Swan, on 18 June 1945.1 He and Tuppina Cecily Bennet were divorced in 1954.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Jennifer Lowther, daughter of Major Hon. Christopher William Lowther and Dorothy Bromley Davenport, on 9 September 1954.1 He and Hon. Jennifer Lowther were divorced in 1962.1 He married, thirdly, Nancy Ruth Cobbs, daughter of Thomas F. Cobbs, on 6 March 1963.1 He and Nancy Ruth Cobbs were divorced in 1975.1 He married, fourthly, Caroline Sheila Ley, daughter of Sir Gerald Gordon Ley, 3rd Bt. and Rosemary Catherine Macpherson, on 4 December 1975.1 He died on 23 May 2006 at age 83.3
