     Sir Melville Leslie MacNaghten was born on 16 June 1853. He married Dora Emily Sanderson, daughter of Reverend Robert Edward Sanderson and Dorinthea Phelps Oldham.2 He married an unknown person on 3 October 1878. He died on 12 May 1921 at age 67.
     Sir Melville Leslie MacNaghten was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1918.1,3

     Lady Augusta Bingham was born on 7 February 1832.1 She was the daughter of Field Marshal George Charles Bingham, 3rd Earl of Lucan and Lady Anne Brudenell.1 She married Henry Gerard Sturt, 1st Baron Alington of Crichel, son of Henry Charles Sturt and Lady Charlotte Penelope Brudenell, on 10 September 1853.1 She died on 3 July 1888 at age 56 at Alington House, London, England.1,2
     Her married name became Sturt. As a result of her marriage, Lady Augusta Bingham was styled as Baroness Alington of Crichel on 15 January 1876.
