     Sir William Paget-Bowman, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 September 1845.1 He was the son of Sir William Bowman, 1st Bt. and Harriet Paget.2 He married Emily Frances Swabey, daughter of William Swabey, on 9 August 1870.1 He died on 7 January 1917 at age 71.3
     Sir William Paget-Bowman, 2nd Bt. was baptised with the name of William Bowman.1 He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was a practising barrister.1 His name was legally changed to William Paget-Bowman.1 He was a director of the Clergy Mutual Assurance Society.1 He was Registrar of the Corporation of Sons of Clergy.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Bowman, of Holmbury St. Mary, co. Surrey [U.K., 1884] on 29 March 1892.1
