     Andrew James Gibson-Watt was born on 25 July 1925.2 He was the son of James Miller Gibson-Watt and Marjorie Adela Ricardo.2 He married Pamela Hambro, daughter of Sir Charles Jocelyn Hambro and Pamela Cobbold, on 23 July 1951.1 He died on 25 March 2006 at age 80.2
     Andrew James Gibson-Watt was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War, with the Welsh Guards.2 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1952 entitled to practice as a barrister.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Powys.2 He was a director of Hambros Bank.2 He has two sons and a daughter.1
