     Samuel Cunliffe Cunliffe-Lister, 2nd Baron Masham of Swinton was born on 2 August 1857.1 He was the son of Samuel Cunliffe-Lister, 1st Baron Masham of Swinton and Anne Dearden.1 He died on 24 January 1917 at age 59, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1878 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Masham of Swinton, co. York [U.K., 1891] on 2 February 1906.1

     Her married name became Nicholas.2 She was a concert pianist and human rights campaigner.1,2

     Sir Lawrence Monck Middleton, 10th Bt. was born on 23 October 1912.1 He was the son of Hugh Jeffery Middleton and Mary Katharine Long.2 He married Primrose Adams, daughter of Lawrence Haynes Adams, in 1984.1 He died on 16 March 1999 at age 86, without issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, in 1939 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Forestry.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Middleton, of Belsay Castle, co. Northumberland [E., 1662] in 1993.2 He lived at Belsay Castle, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, EnglandG.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
