     Charles Patrick Colum Henry Crichton-Stuart was born on 10 March 1939.1 He was the son of Lord Patrick Crichton-Stuart and Jane von Bahr.1 He married, firstly, Shirley Ann Field on 7 July 1967.1 He and Shirley Ann Field were divorced before 1980.1 He married, secondly, Jennifer A. Collie in 1980.1 He died on 3 July 2001 at age 62.1
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He was a Royal Air Force pilot instructor.1 He was a racing car driver in 1966.1

     Simon Mark Pilkington was born in 1938.2 He was the son of Captain Mark Leslie Pilkington and Susan Violet Henderson.1,3 He married Angela Mary Monica Crichton-Stuart, daughter of Lord Patrick Crichton-Stuart and Jane von Bahr, on 19 February 1963.1 He and Angela Mary Monica Crichton-Stuart were divorced.1 He died on 25 March 2009.3
     He lived in 2003 at Chalmer's Lodge, 29 Ballintrae Drive, Ayr, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.2

     Sir Robert Crichton, 1st Lord Crichton of Sanquhar was the son of Sir Robert Crichton of Sanquhar and Elizabeth Erskine.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Hay.1 He married, secondly, Christian Erskine, daughter of Sir John Erskine of Kinnoull, before 1457.1 He died from July 1494 to February 1494/95.1
     He fought in the Battle of Lochmaben in 1484, which he successfully defended for King James III against the 9th Earl of Douglas.1 He was created 1st Lord Crichton of Sanquhar [Scotland] on 29 January 1487/88.1

     Christian Erskine was the daughter of Sir John Erskine of Kinnoull.1 She married, firstly, John Crichton before 1456.1 She married, secondly, Sir Robert Crichton, 1st Lord Crichton of Sanquhar, son of Sir Robert Crichton of Sanquhar and Elizabeth Erskine, before 1457.1
     From before 1456, her married name became Crichton.

     Margaret Spencer was the daughter of Thomas Spencer.1 She married, secondly, Thomas Arundell, 4th Baron Arundell of Wardour, son of Henry Arundell, 3rd Baron Arundell of Wardour and Cicely Compton.1 She married, firstly, Robert Lucy, son of Sir Thomas Lucy and Alicia Spencer.1 She died on 23 December 1704.1
     Her married name became Lucy.1 She succeeded as the Baroness Arundell of Wardour. Her married name became Arundell.1

     Robert Crichton, 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar was the son of Robert Crichton of Kinnoull and Lady Marion Stuart.1 He married Marion Maxwell circa 1491.1 He died between 13 July 1513 and 6 November 1513, probably killed Flodden on 9 September 1513.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar [S., 1488] circa February 1494/95.1

     Robert Crichton, 3rd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar was the son of Robert Crichton, 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar and Marion Maxwell.1 He married Elizabeth Murray, daughter of Sir John Murray of Cockpool.1 He died from 12 July 1516 to 16 October 1520.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar [S., 1488] in 1513.1
