     Charles Patrick Colum Henry Crichton-Stuart was born on 10 March 1939.1 He was the son of Lord Patrick Crichton-Stuart and Jane von Bahr.1 He married, firstly, Shirley Ann Field on 7 July 1967.1 He and Shirley Ann Field were divorced before 1980.1 He married, secondly, Jennifer A. Collie in 1980.1 He died on 3 July 2001 at age 62.1
     Charles Patrick Colum Henry Crichton-Stuart was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.1 He was a Royal Air Force pilot instructor.1 He was a racing car driver in 1966.1

     Simon Mark Pilkington was the son of Captain Mark Leslie Pilkington and Susan Violet Henderson.1,2 He married Angela Mary Monica Crichton-Stuart, daughter of Lord Patrick Crichton-Stuart and Jane von Bahr, on 19 February 1963.1 He and Angela Mary Monica Crichton-Stuart were divorced.1 He died on 25 March 2009.2

     Sir Robert Crichton, 1st Lord Crichton of Sanquhar was the son of Sir Robert Crichton of Sanquhar and Elizabeth Erskine.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Hay.1 He married, secondly, Christian Erskine, daughter of Sir John Erskine of Kinnoull, before 1457.1 He died from July 1494 to February 1494/95.1
     Sir Robert Crichton, 1st Lord Crichton of Sanquhar fought in the Battle of Lochmaben in 1484, which he successfully defended for King James III against the 9th Earl of Douglas.1 He was created 1st Lord Crichton of Sanquhar [Scotland] on 29 January 1487/88.1

     Robert Crichton, 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar was the son of Robert Crichton of Kinnoull and Lady Marion Stuart.1 He married Marion Maxwell circa 1491.1 He died between 13 July 1513 and 6 November 1513, probably killed Flodden on 9 September 1513.1
     Robert Crichton, 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Crichton of Sanquhar [S., 1488] circa February 1494/95.1
