Sir William Stapleton, 3rd Bt. was born on 14 November 1674.1 He was the son of Sir William Stapleton, 1st Bt. and Anne Russell.1 He married Frances Russell, daughter of Sir James Russell and Penelope Tyrrell, on 23 January 1696/97 at Stepney, Middlesex, England.1 He died on 6 December 1699 at age 25 at Nevis.1
