     Maria Alexia Freiin Rauch de Nyék was born on 31 December 1850 at Luznica Castle.1 She was the daughter of Levin Freiherr Rauch de Nyék and Donata Antonia Gräfin Sermage de Somszédvár et Medvedgrád.1 She married Christian Freiherr Steeb, son of Johann-Baptist Ritter und Edler von Steeb and Ida Rehm, on 28 April 1877 at Zagreb, Croatia.1 She died on 15 July 1924 at age 73 at Zagreb, Croatia.1
     From 28 April 1877, her married name became Steeb.1
