     General Sir John Malcolm was born on 2 May 1769.2 He was the son of George Malcolm and Margaret Pasley.3,2 He married Isabella Charlotte Campbell, daughter of General Sir Alexander Campbell, 1st Bt. and Olympia Elizabeth Morshead, on 4 June 1807.1 He died on 31 May 1833 at age 64.1 He was buried at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.2
     He was with the Honourable East India Company Service.2 He was Envoy to Persia.2 He held the office of Governor of Bombay.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1

     Margaret Malcolm was born on 17 May 1808.2 She was the daughter of General Sir John Malcolm and Isabella Charlotte Campbell.3 She married Sir Alexander Thomas Cockburn-Campbell, 2nd Bt., son of Alexander Cockburn and Olympia Campbell, on 20 June 1827.1 She died on 6 February 1841 at age 32.1,2
     From 20 June 1827, her married name became Cockburn-Campbell.

     Sir Alexander Thomas Cockburn-Campbell, 2nd Bt. was born in 1807.2 He was the son of Alexander Cockburn and Olympia Campbell.3 He married, firstly, Margaret Malcolm, daughter of General Sir John Malcolm and Isabella Charlotte Campbell, on 20 June 1827.1 He married, secondly, Grace Spence, daughter of Joseph Spence, in 1842.1 He married, thirdly, Sophie Jane Trimmer on 4 April 1871.1 He died on 23 April 1871.1
     He was given the name of Alexander Thomas Cockburn at birth.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Campbell, of Gartsford, co. Ross [U.K., 1815] on 11 December 1824.1 He was also known as Alexander Thomas Cockburn-Campbell as of 1825.1 He held the office of Resident Magistrate of Albany [Western Australia].1

     From 8 August 1849, her married name became von Usedom.
