     Sir Alexander Thomas Cockburn-Campbell, 5th Bt. was born on 8 August 1872.1 He is the son of Sir Thomas Cockburn-Campbell, 4th Bt. and Lucy Ann Trimmer.2 He married Maude Frances Lorenzo Giles, daughter of Alfred Giles, in 1918.1 He died on 1 July 1935 at age 62.1
     Sir Alexander Thomas Cockburn-Campbell, 5th Bt. succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Campbell, of Gartsford, co. Ross [U.K., 1815] on 27 September 1892.1
