     Laura Milner was born circa 1826. She was the daughter of Sir William Mordaunt Sturt Milner, 4th Bt. and Harriet Elizabeth Cavendish-Bentinck. She married Egerton Vernon-Harcourt, son of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Venables-Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower, on 8 December 1859. She died on 5 February 1889.
     Her married name became Vernon-Harcourt.

     Henry Richard Johnstone-Scott was born on 7 March 1830.¹ He was the son of Sir John Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Augusta Venables-Vernon-Harcourt.² He married Cressida Elizabeth Selby-Lowndes, daughter of William Selby-Lowndes, on 4 October 1866.¹ He died on 29 January 1912 at age 81.¹
     Henry Richard Johnstone-Scott was baptised with the name of William Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone.¹ He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ On 1860 his name was legally changed to Henry Richard Johnstone-Scott by Royal Licence.¹ He lived at Wood Hall, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Sir John Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 August 1799.⁴ He was the son of Sir Richard Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 1st Bt. and Margaret Scott.^2,3 He married Louisa Augusta Venables-Vernon-Harcourt, daughter of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Venables-Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower, on 14 June 1825.⁴ He died on 24 February 1869 at age 69.⁴
     Sir John Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, of Hackness Hall, Yorkshire [G.B., 1795] in July 1807.⁵ He was educated at Rugby College, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.⁴ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1821 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County York between 1830 and 1832.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Scarborough between 1832 and 1837.⁴ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1841.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Scarborough between 1841 and 1853.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Scarborough between 1857 and 1869.⁴

     Georgiana Vernon was the daughter of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Venables-Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower.² She married General George Alexander Malcolm, son of General Sir John Malcolm and Isabella Charlotte Campbell, on 4 December 1845.¹ She died on 29 October 1886.¹
     From 4 December 1845, her married name became Malcolm.

     General George Alexander Malcolm was born on 21 January 1810.¹ He was the son of General Sir John Malcolm and Isabella Charlotte Campbell.² He married Georgiana Vernon, daughter of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Edward Venables-Vernon-Harcourt and Lady Anne Leveson-Gower, on 4 December 1845.¹ He died on 2 June 1888 at age 78, without issue.¹
     General George Alexander Malcolm was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).¹ He gained the rank of General.¹

     Harcourt Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 1st Baron Derwent was born on 3 January 1829.⁴ He was the son of Sir John Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Augusta Venables-Vernon-Harcourt.³ He married Charlotte Mills, daughter of Sir Charles Mills, 1st Bt., on 2 May 1850.⁴ He died on 1 March 1916 at age 87.⁴
     Harcourt Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 1st Baron Derwent was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.⁴ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 2nd Life Guards.⁴ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.⁴ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the East Riding Artillery Volunteers.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the North Riding, Yorkshire.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Scarborough between 1869 and 1880.⁴ He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, of Hackness Hall, Yorkshire [G.B., 1795] on 24 February 1869.¹ He was created 1st Baron Derwent, of Hackness, in the North Riding of co. York [U.K.] on 10 October 1881.¹

     Cressida Elizabeth Selby-Lowndes was the daughter of William Selby-Lowndes.² She married Henry Richard Johnstone-Scott, son of Sir John Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Augusta Venables-Vernon-Harcourt, on 4 October 1866.¹ She died on 6 May 1937.¹
     Her married name became Johnstone-Scott.
