     John Duke Coleridge was born on 10 November 1879.¹ He was the son of Hon. Stephen William Buchanan Coleridge and Geraldine Beatrice Lushington.² He married Hon. Katharine Euphemia Godley, daughter of John Arthur Godley, 1st Baron Kilbracken and Hon. Sarah James James, on 11 June 1904.¹ He died on 9 September 1934 at age 54.¹
     John Duke Coleridge fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Institute of British Architects (F.R.I.B.A.).¹

Gladstone between 1880 and 1882.³ He held the office of Commissioner of Inland Revenue between 1882 and 1883.³ He held the office of Permanent-Under-Secretary of the India Office between 1883 and 1909.³ He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn entitled to practice as a barrister.⁴ He was created 1st Baron Kilbracken, of Killegar, co. Leitrim [U.K.] on 8 December 1909.⁴ He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.).³ He was Trustee of the British Museum.³

     Hon. Katharine Euphemia Godley was the daughter of John Arthur Godley, 1st Baron Kilbracken and Hon. Sarah James James.² She married John Duke Coleridge, son of Hon. Stephen William Buchanan Coleridge and Geraldine Beatrice Lushington, on 11 June 1904.¹ She died on 25 September 1941.¹
     From 11 June 1904, her married name became Coleridge.

     Peter Duke Coleridge was born on 27 April 1905.¹ He was the son of John Duke Coleridge and Hon. Katharine Euphemia Godley.² He married Sigrid Stahl-Christensen, daughter of Paulus Stahl-Christensen, on 8 August 1936.¹ He and Sigrid Stahl-Christensen were divorced in 1953.¹ He died on 11 September 1958 at age 53.¹
