     Charles Calveley Cotton was born on 18 August 1847.1 He was the son of Charles Robert Cotton and Mary Anne Elizabeth Egerton.2 He married Kate de la Rue, daughter of William Frederick de la Rue, on 9 October 1873.1 He died on 25 April 1892 at age 44.1

     Charles William Egerton Cotton was born on 14 August 1874.1 He was the son of Charles Calveley Cotton and Kate de la Rue.2 He married Violet Mainwaring, daughter of Sir Philip Mainwaring, 4th Bt., on 12 December 1925.1 He died on 6 September 1931 at age 57.1
     Charles William Egerton Cotton was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was with the Indian Civil Service.1 He was Chief Secretary of the Government of Madras.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1920.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1931.1

     Lt.-Col. Ronald Egerton Cotton was born on 8 March 1876.1 He was the son of Charles Calveley Cotton and Kate de la Rue.2 He married Hilda Inglis, daughter of Captain Charles Dickson Inglis, on 8 February 1917.1 He died on 3 September 1932 at age 56.1
     Lt.-Col. Ronald Egerton Cotton gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Service Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches three times.1 He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.1
