     Arthur Egerton Cotton was born on 8 March 1876.1 He was the son of Charles Calveley Cotton and Kate de la Rue.2 He married Beryl Marie Cumming, daughter of Henry Jack Cumming, on 1 July 1909.1 He died on 10 June 1922 at age 46.1
     Arthur Egerton Cotton was commander of the 11th Service Battalion, Rifle Brigade.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1

     From 1 July 1909, her married name became Cotton. From 1923, her married name became Booker.1

     From 21 February 1934, her married name became Montgomery. From 1 May 1951, her married name became Somerfield.
