     Arthur Egerton Cotton was born on 8 March 1876.1 He was the son of Charles Calveley Cotton and Kate de la Rue.2 He married Beryl Marie Cumming, daughter of Henry Jack Cumming, on 1 July 1909.1 He died on 10 June 1922 at age 46.1
     Arthur Egerton Cotton was commander of the 11th Service Battalion, Rifle Brigade.1 He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1

     Beryl Marie Cumming was the daughter of Henry Jack Cumming.2 She married, firstly, Arthur Egerton Cotton, son of Charles Calveley Cotton and Kate de la Rue, on 1 July 1909.1 She married, secondly, John Lee Booker in 1923.1 She died on 26 January 1966.1
     From 1 July 1909, her married name became Cotton. From 1923, her married name became Booker.1

     From 21 February 1934, her married name became Montgomery. From 1 May 1951, her married name became Somerfield.
