     Sir Nathaniel Conant was born on 10 April 1745.1 He is the son of Reverend John Conant and Mary Wake.2 He married Sarah Whiston, daughter of John Whiston, in 1776.1
     Sir Nathaniel Conant held the office of Police Magistrate of Marlborough Street.1 He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Bow Street.1 He was invested as a Knight in 1813.1 He graduated from, with other issue, including a younger son (William CONANT later STAINSBY-CONANT on inheriting property from Mrs Stainsby, of Southampton Row, WC2, born 1783, educ Trin College Cambridge Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) 1806), died 1835): on 12 April 1822.1

     Commander John Edward Conant was born on 18 October 1777.1 He was the son of Sir Nathaniel Conant and Sarah Whiston.2 He married Catherine Brown, daughter of Edward Brown, in 1817.1 He died on 13 October 1848 at age 70.1
     Commander John Edward Conant gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He held the office of Police Magistrate of Marlborough Street in 1817.1
