     Margaret Holcroft was the daughter of Thomas Holcroft.1 She married, firstly, Sir Richard Standish, 1st Bt..1 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Stanley, 4th Bt., son of Sir Edward Stanley, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Bosvile, after 1694.1 She died on 14 October 1735.1
     Her married name became Standish.1 From after 1694, her married name became Stanley.1
