     William O'Neylane was born in 1635.1 He was the son of Daniel O'Neylane and Mary McMahon.1 He married Catherine Fitzgerald.1 He died in 1678.1
     William O'Neylane gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Spanish Army.1 He lived at Dysert, County Clare, Ireland.1

     Maj.-Gen. Baron Francis Patrick O'Neylane was born on 4 October 1671 at Dysert Castle, County Clare, Ireland.1 He was the son of William O'Neylane and Catherine Fitzgerald.1 He married Barbara Browne, daughter of General Ulysses Browne and Annabella Fitzgerald.1 He died on 3 October 1734 at age 62 at Mantua, Italy.1
     Maj.-Gen. Baron Francis Patrick O'Neylane was commander of the Citadel of Mantua.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the 57th Infantry Regiment, Imperial Army of Austria.1 He gained the title of Baron O'Neylane [Holy Roman Empire].

     Barbara Browne was born circa 1700.1 She was the daughter of General Ulysses Browne and Annabella Fitzgerald.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Baron Francis Patrick O'Neylane, son of William O'Neylane and Catherine Fitzgerald.1 She died on 16 September 1751.1
     Her married name became O'Neylane.1
