Francis Charles Annesley, 1st Earl Annesley was born on 27 November 1740.1 He was the son of William Annesley, 1st Viscount Glerawly and Lady Anne Beresford.1 He married Mary Grove, daughter of Robert Grove and Mary Ryland, on 8 February 1766, with a fortune of £30,000.1 He died on 19 December 1802 at age 62 at Mountpanther, County Down, Ireland, without legitmate issue.1,2 He was buried at Kilmegan, County Down, Ireland.1
