     Margaret Everina Barton was born on 4 November 1772.1 She was the daughter of William Barton and Grace Massy.2,3 She married Hugh Massy, 3rd Baron Massy of Duntrileague, son of Hugh Massy, 2nd Baron Massy of Duntrileague and Catherine Taylor, on 2 March 1792.4 She died on 14 September 1820 at age 47.1
     After her marriage, Margaret Everina Barton was styled as Baroness Massy of Duntrileague on 2 March 1792. From 2 March 1792, her married name became Massy.1

Hugh Massy, 2nd Baron Massy of Duntrileague1

     Hugh Massy, 2nd Baron Massy of Duntrileague was born on 14 April 1733.2 He was the son of Hugh Massy, 1st Baron Massy of Duntrileague and Mary Dawson.1 He married Catherine Taylor, daughter of Colonel Edward Taylor and Anne Maunsell, in September 1760.2 He died on 10 May 1790 at age 57 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2
     He held the office of Sheriff of Limerick in 1763. He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Massy of Duntrileague, co. Limerick [I., 1776] on 30 January 1788.1

     From September 1760, her married name became Massy. After her marriage, Catherine Taylor was styled as Baroness Massy of Duntrileague on 30 January 1788.
