     Hon. Sir Henry Arthur Pears Fisher was born on 20 January 1918.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. and Rt. Hon. Geoffrey Francis Fisher, Baron Fisher of Lambeth and Rosamond Chevallier Forman.1 He married Felicity Sutton, daughter of Eric Sutton, in 1948.1 He died on 10 April 2005 at age 87.1
     Hon. Sir Henry Arthur Pears Fisher was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was educated at Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1946, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in 1946 in the service of the Leicestershire Regiment.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1947 entitled to practice as a barrister.1 He was invested as a Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1960.1 He held the office of Recorder of Canterbury between 1962 and 1968.1 He held the office of Bencher of the Inner Temple in 1966.1 He was invested as a Knight Bachelor in 1968.1 He held the office of Judge of the High Court of Justice, Queen's Bench Division between 1968 and 1970.1 He was a director of J. Henry Schroder Wagg & Company between 1970 and 1975.1 He was a director of Thomas Tilling plc between 1970 and 1983.1 He was the President between 1975 and 1985 at Wolfson College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was a director of Equity and Law Assurance plc between 1975 and 1987.1 He had one son and three daughters.1
