     Harriet Margaret Kavanagh was the daughter of Thomas Kavanagh, The MacMorrough and Lady Harriete Margaret Le Poer Trench.1 She married Colonel W. A. Middleton.1 She died on 7 May 1876, without issue.1
     Her married name became Middleton.1

     Mary Frances Forde-Leathley was the daughter of Reverend Joseph Forde-Leathley.1 She married Rt. Hon. Arthur MacMorrough Kavanagh, The MacMorrough, son of Thomas Kavanagh, The MacMorrough and Lady Harriete Margaret Le Poer Trench, on 15 March 1855.1 She died on 2 June 1908.1
     From 15 March 1855, her married name became Kavanagh.1

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles Toler MacMorrough Kavanagh was born on 25 March 1864.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Arthur MacMorrough Kavanagh, The MacMorrough and Mary Frances Forde-Leathley.1 He married Mary Perry, daughter of Samuel Perry, in 1895.1 He died on 11 October 1950 at age 86.1
     Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles Toler MacMorrough Kavanagh was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1902.1 He was invested as a Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1909.1 He was Commander of the 1st Cavalry Brigade between 1909 and 1913.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was Commander of the 7th Cavalry Brigade in 1914.1 He was Commander of the 1st Army Corps in 1916.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1917.1 He was Commander of the Cavalry Corps between 1917 and 1919.1 He was decorated with the Croix de Guerre.1 He was decorated with the Grand Officer, Order of St. Maurice and St. Lazarus of Italy.1 He was decorated with the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1919.1 He retired from the military in 1920, with the rank of Lieutenant-General, late of the 10th Hussars.1 He held the office of Governor of the Military Knights of Windsor between 1932 and 1950.1
