     Isabel Ruthven, Lady Ruthven of Freeland was the daughter of Sir Francis Ruthven of Redcastle, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Ruthven.2 She married Colonel James Ruthven of Graitney, son of William Johnstone of Graitney.1 She died on 23 June 1732.1
     She succeeded as the 4th Lady Ruthven of Freeland [S., 1651] in April 1722.1 In 1727 she was invited as holder of a Scottish Lordship of Parliament to the coronation of King George II.1

     Colonel James Ruthven of Graitney is the son of William Johnstone of Graitney.1 He married Isabel Ruthven, Lady Ruthven of Freeland, daughter of Sir Francis Ruthven of Redcastle, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Ruthven.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Regiment of Foot Guards.1 He was given the name of James Johnstone at birth.1

     Thomas Kavanagh, The MacMorrough was born on 10 March 1767.2 He was the son of Thomas Kavanagh, The MacMorrough and Lady Susanna Butler.2 He married, firstly, Lady Elizabeth Butler, daughter of John Butler, 17th Earl of Ormonde and Lady Frances Susan Elizabeth Wandesford, on 24 March 1799.2 He married, secondly, Lady Harriete Margaret Le Poer Trench, daughter of Richard Le Poer Trench, 2nd Earl of Clancarty and Henrietta Margaret Staples, on 28 February 1825.1 He died on 20 January 1837 at age 69.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Carlow.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kilkenny City [Ireland].1,2 He lived at Borris House, County Carlow, IrelandG.2 He also had eight other daughters by his first wife.2

     Power Le Poer Trench was born on 19 July 1869.1 He was the son of Colonel William Le Poer Trench and Harriet Maria Georgina Martins.1 He married Gladys Carew-Gibson, daughter of George Carew Carew-Gibson, on 3 December 1896.1 He died on 14 June 1926 at age 56.1
     He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1

     Gladys Marjorie Le Poer Trench was born on 22 December 1899.1 She was the daughter of Power Le Poer Trench and Gladys Carew-Gibson.1 She married, firstly, Henry Saxe Wyndham on 8 April 1920.1 She and Henry Saxe Wyndham were divorced in 1937.1 She married, secondly, Eric Charles Edwards, son of Osman Adams Edwards and Rose Anne Dillon, on 18 March 1939.1 She died on 19 May 1960 at age 60.1
     From 8 April 1920, her married name became Wyndham.1 From 18 March 1939, her married name became Edwards.1

     James Ruthven, 7th Lord Ruthven of Freeland was born on 17 October 1777.1 He was the son of James Ruthven, 6th Lord Ruthven of Freeland and Lady Mary Elizabeth Leslie.2 He married Mary Hamilton Campbell, daughter of Walter Campbell, 9th of Skipness and 3rd of Shawfield and Mary Nisbet, on 20 December 1813.1 He died on 27 July 1853 at age 75, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Lord Ruthven of Freeland [S., 1651] on 27 December 1789.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 90th Foot.1
