     John Finch, 6th Earl of Winchilsea was born on 24 February 1682/83. He was the son of Heneage Finch, 3rd Earl of Winchilsea and Elizabeth Ayres. He died on 9 September 1729 at age 46, unmarried.
     John Finch, 6th Earl of Winchilsea gained the title of 6th Earl of Winchilsea.

     Sir John Arundell was born circa 1428 at Tolverne, Cornwall, England.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Arundell and Elizabeth Paulet.1 He married Maud Courtenay, daughter of Sir Hugh Courtenay and Margaret Carminow.2
     The Arundells of Tolvern descended from him.1

     William Finch, Viscount Maidstone was baptised on 20 January 1651/52 at Eastwell, Kent, England.1 He was the son of Heneage Finch, 3rd Earl of Winchilsea and Lady Mary Seymour.1 He died on 28 May 1672 at age 20.

     Charles Finch, 4th Earl of Winchilsea was born on 26 September 1672. He was the son of William Finch, Viscount Maidstone and Elizabeth Wyndham. He married Sarah Nourse, daughter of Henry Nourse, on 26 September 1692. He died on 14 August 1712 at age 39.
     Charles Finch, 4th Earl of Winchilsea succeeded to the title of 4th Earl of Winchilsea. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).1

     Heneage Finch, 5th Earl of Winchilsea was born on 3 January 1656/57.1 He was the son of Heneage Finch, 3rd Earl of Winchilsea and Lady Mary Seymour.1 He and Anne Kingsmill obtained a marriage license on 14 May 1684.2 He died on 30 September 1726 at age 69.
     Heneage Finch, 5th Earl of Winchilsea gained the title of 5th Earl of Winchilsea.

     Thomas Finch, 2nd Earl of Winchilsea was the son of Sir Moyle Finch, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchelsea. He married Cecille Wentworth, daughter of John Wentworth, in 1609. He died on 4 November 1639.
     Thomas Finch, 2nd Earl of Winchilsea succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl of Winchilsea.

     Cecille Wentworth was the daughter of John Wentworth. She married Thomas Finch, 2nd Earl of Winchilsea, son of Sir Moyle Finch, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchelsea, in 1609. She died in 1642.
     Her married name became Finch.
