Hon. Adelaide Cavendish was born on 9 January 1841.2 She was the daughter of Henry Manners Cavendish, 3rd Baron Waterpark and Hon. Elizabeth Jane Anson.1 She married Samuel William Clowes, son of William Legh Clowes, on 3 December 1863.1 She died on 20 April 1925 at age 84.1
From 3 December 1863, her married name became Clowes.1 She held the office of Maid-of-Honour to HM Queen Victoria.1
