Sir Alexander Scrymgeour of Dudhope died on 4 August 1306 at York, Yorkshire, England, hung, drawn and quartered.1
Sir Alexander Scrymgeour of Dudhope lived at Dudhope, Angus, Scotland.1 He fought in the Battle of Stirling Bridge, as Hereditary Standard-Bearer.1 He held the office of Constable of Dundee on 29 March 1298, by charter as a reward for his military services.1 In 1306 he joined King Robert I.1 He fought in the Battle of Methven, where he was captured by the English.1
