Sir James Scrymgeour of Dudhope was the son of Sir Alexander Scrymgeour of Dudhope and Agnes (?).2 He married Egidia Maxwell, daughter of Sir John Maxwell of Pollok and Elizabeth de Lindsay.1 He died on 24 July 1411 at Harlaw, killed in action.1
