     Charles Kenneth Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was born on 29 May 1887.1 He was the son of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell.2 He married Gertrude Louisa Marie Wemyss, daughter of James Carnegie Wemyss, on 24 November 1915.1
     Charles Kenneth Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Special List.1 He was with the Ministry of Supply Timber Control between 1940 and 1941.1 He was with the Timber Production Department between 1941 and 1945.1
