     Frederick Lewis Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was born on 4 March 1808.¹ He was the son of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn and Mary Turner Maitland.² He married, firstly, Hon. Helen Arbuthnott, daughter of John Arbuthnott, 8th Viscount of Arbuthnott and Margaret Ogilvy, on 26 April 1839.¹ He married, secondly, Selina Mary Garth, daughter of Captain Thomas Garth, on 31 August 1852.¹ He died on 16 August 1874 at age 66.¹
     Frederick Lewis Scrymgeour-Wedderburn succeeded to the title of 10th Viscount Dudhope [S., 1641] on 30 December 1841, de jure.¹ He succeeded to the title of 8th Earl of Dundee [S., 1660] on 30 December 1841, de jure.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹ He had two sons and three daughters by his second wife.¹

     Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill was born on 18 April 1840.¹ He was the son of Frederick Lewis Scrymgeour-Wedderburn and Hon. Helen Arbuthnott.² He married Juliana Braddell, daughter of Thomas Braddell, on 31 March 1869.¹ He died on 1 February 1914 at age 73.¹
