     Robert Cochrane of that Ilk is the son of Allan Cochrane of that Ilk.1
     In 1488 he had saisine of the lands of Cochrane.1 On 2 January 1516/17 he resigned his lands in favour of his son.1

     Elizabeth Montgomerie was the daughter of Robert Montgomerie of Skelmorlie.1 She married William Cochrane of that Ilk, son of John Cochrane of that Ilk and Elizabeth Sempill, circa 1579.1 She died on 15 August 1594.1
     From circa 1579, her married name became Cochrane.1
