     Herbert Godsal was the son of Philip William Godsal.2 He married Helen Margaret Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell, on 16 October 1901.1 He died on 22 September 1932.1

     Mary Turner Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was the daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell.2 She married Brig.-Gen. James Dalgleish Heriot-Maitland, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir James Makgill Heriot-Maitland, on 3 August 1903.1 She died on 11 March 1937.3
     From 3 August 1903, her married name became Heriot-Maitland.

     Brig.-Gen. James Dalgleish Heriot-Maitland was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir James Makgill Heriot-Maitland.2 He married Mary Turner Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, daughter of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell, on 3 August 1903.1 He died on 18 January 1958.3
     Brig.-Gen. James Dalgleish Heriot-Maitland was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1
