     Lieutenant Samuel Allen Adams was born on 1 March 1847.1 He was the son of John Hervey Adams and Elizabeth Frances Going.1 He married Frances Dorothea Preston, daughter of Reverend Decimus William Preston, on 13 June 1871.1 He died on 29 August 1927 at age 80.1
     He was educated at Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Tipperary Militia Artillery.1 He lived at Northlands, County Cavan, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1921.1

     Ambrose Going Adams was born on 22 March 1850.1 He was the son of John Hervey Adams and Elizabeth Frances Going.1 He married Anne Jane Foster Deering, daughter of Reverend William Watkyns Deering and Elizabeth Adams, on 3 October 1872.1 He died on 11 January 1888 at age 37.1
     He was educated at Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1

      From 3 October 1872, her married name became Adams.1
