     Lieutenant Samuel Allen Adams was educated at Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Tipperary Militia Artillery.1 He lived at Northlands, County Cavan, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1921.1
