     James Cochrane was the son of John Cochrane and Hannah de Werth.1 He married Cecilia Oliphant, daughter of George Oliphant, in January 1731.1 He died on 29 August 1762.1
     James Cochrane held the office of Judge Advocate.1

     Reverend Ambrose Douglas Adams was born on 9 May 1889.1 He was the son of Lieutenant Samuel Allen Adams and Frances Dorothea Preston.2 He married, firstly, Ida Modwyn Winnington-Ingram, daughter of Rear-Adm. Charles William Winnington-Ingram, on 19 July 1923.1 He married, secondly, Mabel Helen Joyce Pierce, daughter of Henry James Pierce, on 17 August 1941.1
     Reverend Ambrose Douglas Adams was educated privately.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1911 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1916 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Vicar between 1923 and 1927 at St. John, Wimborne, Dorset, England.1 He wrote the book Rainbows of the Soul, published 1927, La Charmille, 1801 Fenil-sur-Vevey, Vaud, Switzerland.1 He was the Vicar between 1927 and 1930 at St. George's, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England.1 He was the Chaplain between 1930 and 1934 at Château d'Oex.1 He was the Chaplain between 1934 and 1942 at Holy Trinity Church, Cannes, France.1 He held the office of the Vicar between 1942 and 1946.1 He was the Chaplain between 1946 and 1949 at Holy Trinity Church, Cannes, France.1 He was the Chaplain after 1949 at Christ Church, Clarens, Switzerland.1
