     Sarah Mary Ormsby was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Owen Lloyd Ormsby.1 She married, firstly, John Hervey Adams, son of Very Rev. Samuel Adams and Frances Harvey, on 24 September 1869.1 She married, secondly, Edward Gibbs Poingdestre.1 She died on 8 May 1871.1
     From 24 September 1869, her married name became Adams.1 Her married name became Poingdestre.1

     John Hervey Stuart Adams was born on 30 December 1875.1 He was the son of Lieutenant Samuel Allen Adams and Frances Dorothea Preston.1 He married Louisa Peers Adams, daughter of J. Craig-Bate de Lisle Adams, on 21 May 1930.1 He died on 29 January 1949 at age 73, without children.1
     John Hervey Stuart Adams lived at Northlands, County Cavan, Ireland, which he sold.1

     Lieutenant Samuel Allen Adams was born on 11 April 1882.1 He was the son of Lieutenant Samuel Allen Adams and Frances Dorothea Preston.1 He married Eleanor Gibson on 4 May 1905.1 He died on 31 May 1916 at age 34, killed in action.1
     Lieutenant Samuel Allen Adams gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He fought in the Battle of Jutland on 31 May 1916.1
