Major Charles Adam Murray Alexander was born on 11 July 1889.2 He was the son of Colonel Charles Murray Alexander and Mary Anna Catherine Lowry.1 He married Gladys Sylvia MacGregor Greer, daughter of Major Thomas MacGregor Greer, on 31 December 1918.1 He died on 8 September 1958 at age 69.1
