     Gilbert Grierson was born before 1424.1 He was the son of Gilbert Grierson, 2nd of Lag and Isabel Kirkpatrick.1 He married, firstly, Janet Glendinning, daughter of John Glendinning and Elizabeth Sinclair.1 He died in 1457.1

     Lt.-Col. Henry George Samuel Alexander was born on 12 April 1848.1 He was the son of Reverend Samuel Alexander and Charlotte Frances Beresford.1 He married Elizabeth Collie Phoebe Webb, daughter of Edward B. Webb, on 16 February 1878.1 He died on 22 November 1931 at age 83.1
